Specialized Negotiations Course
In Module 3 of the Specialized Negotiations course for National University, learners are given the chance to deeply understand advanced negotiation strategies, focusing on effective communication across diverse cultural landscapes. This module's exercises are designed to enhance the ability to manage and excel in negotiations involving multiple stakeholders while providing analytical tools to influence underlying power structures in negotiation scenarios.
For this learning interactive, I utilized a range of tools to bring the project to life. Using Storyline 360, I developed an engaging and interactive experience. I used WellSaid Labs to create clear and professional voiceover narration. To create the visual elements, I employed Midjourney for image creation and Photoshop for detailed image editing. This interactive is one of eight I developed for the course and serves as a prime example of my work for this course. You may review the interactive on Review 360.
The Subject-Matter Expert (SME) requested a storytelling approach to effectively illustrate and teach negotiation strategies, inspired by Pixar-style illustrations for characters and scenery. Entrusted with creative leadership for designing and developing this learning interactive, as well as the other modules in the course, I took the SME’s general direction and crafted a compelling, visually engaging learning experience.
Collaborating closely with the SME, I leveraged my expertise in artificial intelligence text-to-image creation to ensure consistent character design, as several main characters appeared across different modules. The storytelling approach not only enhanced engagement but also allowed for a creative exploration of characters, imagery, and the overall visual theme.
Given the creative freedom to shape the course, I integrated vibrant visuals and dynamic storytelling elements to captivate learners and make complex concepts more accessible. This narrative-driven and visually rich approach ensured that learners remained engaged while effectively absorbing the material.
